This topic contains a list of the shortcut keys that you can use with 's ERP applications.

Note that not all keys are available on every screen. Some are list-specific; others can be used for editing, etc. Explanations of the keys are listed.

Moves to the next page of information
 
Prev Page button
Lists
Moves to the previous page of list information
 
Up Arrow 5   Lists and Edit panels

On lists, moves the highlighted row up.
On edit panels, moves the cursor up one field.

 
Down Arrow 6 Lists and Edit panels On lists, moves the highlighted row down.
On edit panels, moves the cursor down one field.
 
New button Lists Opens a blank edit screen so that you can create a new list entry.

... Edit, New, and transaction panels

For fields with a ... prompt, you can either click the prompt, or press F4. You get either the Quick Prompt panel, or a list.

 

If the ... prompt activates the Quick Prompt panel, the Value of... box is beside the first of the available fields. Pressing the Tab key moves the Value of... box to the next available field.

If the prompt displays a list, you can select a list item by clicking on the row -- the row will be highlighted in blue -- and then clicking Enter. Use the Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys to move to a different highlighted row.

Refresh button Lists and Edit panels. Refreshes the displayed list or edit panel. Clears entries from edit panels. Displays new additions/deletions on lists.

Quick Prompt box Moves to the next active field. See F4 above.

Edit panels

Submits the contents of the panel to the system.
Edit, New, and transaction panels Selects/deselects a highlighted check box.
Cancel Edit, New, and transaction panels Cancels the panel In most cases, closes the window.
Help Edit, New, List, and transaction panels Displays help on fields.
Contents Holding the Shift key down while clicking a selection in the Contents opens the selection in a new window.

Confirm panels; Edit panels<

Signals the system to perform an action, such as entering an edited item record or sending a requisition to an approver.

Notes:

On an Edit or New panel:

If there is a field in error, and the error message is displayed at the bottom of the screen, you can click the error message to move the cursor to the field that is in error. The system will also change to the correct tab if the field is on a tab that is not displayed.
