Overview of Online Training Videos

You can access a set of online training videos from the the main Contents. Click Online Training (Figure 1).

Online training videos are available for system users from either Supply Chain (Materials Management) or Financials (Accounts Payable and General Ledger). Below are instructions for opening the online training modules, and a list of the modules available.

To select and open an online video:

  1. From the main Contents, click Online Training. The Online Training Menu appears (Figure 2).

  1. Click one of the training areas, such as Basics or Inventory Tasks. The titles of several training videos on various topics appear for each area.
  2. Click the video that you want to watch. A written introduction to the video appears. (Be sure your speakers or earphones are on.)

For example, clicking Inventory Tasks lets you select and of five training videos: Credit Transactions, Performing a Physical Inventory, or Performing an Inventory Adjustment, Introducing Item Import and Maintenance, or Using Item Maintenance and Import to Add Items.

  1. Either a WebEx window appears and the presenter explains what the course is about, and any prerequisites (Figure 2). Then the course begins. Or, the Windows Media Player appears, and the course begins.
    Note: Some videos run in WebEx, and some run via Microsoft Windows Media Player. For videos that run in WebEx, you may be instructed to download the WebEx video player, if it does not exist on your local computer.

Information about all the courses appears. Each course description contains topics in the course, prerequisites, and running time.
